Privacy Notice

Privacy Notice

Effective 15 October 2026. Issued under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission.

1. Who is responsible for your data

IurisPH is the personal information controller for Iuris Case Reader PH (reader.iuris.ph), iuris.ph, bar.iuris.ph and the IurisPH apps. Our Data Protection Officer can be reached at info@iuris.ph.

A school or review centre that runs its own branded edition of the reader (a "tenant") decides who gets accounts on it and is a controller for its own list of members. IurisPH processes that data for the tenant and under this Notice. Your tenant's own contact is shown on its sign-in page.

3. Why we may process your data (legal bases)

4. Who processes data for us

Some of these providers operate outside the Philippines. Where data leaves the country we rely on the provider's contractual commitments to protect it to a standard comparable to Philippine law. We do not sell personal data. We disclose it only to these processors, to your tenant for its own members, when the law requires it, or with your consent.

5. How long we keep it

6. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to object to processing, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased or blocked, to data portability, to be indemnified for damages caused by unlawful processing, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

Delete your account yourself. Sign in, open the menu and choose Account & privacy, then Delete my account. Everything you own in the Service is erased at once. You can also write to info@iuris.ph and we will act within 15 working days.

To exercise any other right, email info@iuris.ph from the address on your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity.

7. Security

Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes. All traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to the operator, protected by key-based authentication and a firewall. Backups are encrypted. If a breach affects your data we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.

8. Children

The Service is for people aged 18 and over. If you believe a minor has an account, write to info@iuris.ph and we will remove it.

We will post any change here and update the effective date. For material changes we will also tell you by email or in the Service.
